Emily Spencer has joined the practice as a Part I architectural assistant to further her studies at Newcastle University. One of her favourite academic projects she has worked on was a craft school on the Quayside, reinstating public connections along the River Tyne via a community space using ancient Japanese methodology and materials. She has a strong interest in community projects, as well as the mixture of historical and contemporary design and is enjoying getting to grips with the complexities of design in practice.

Interests: Interior design, photography, graphic design, painting
